Higbee is a small city located in the southern part of Randolph County, Missouri, in the United States. In 2020, about 459 people lived there. Some companies that make barrels, like A&K Cooperage and Barrel 53 Cooperage, are based in Higbee. Woodsmen Distilling also operates here.

History of Higbee
The area where Higbee is now was first settled in 1872. A year later, in 1873, a post office opened in the community. The city was named after Joseph Higbee, who was one of the first people to settle in the area.
Geography and Location
Higbee is located about two miles north of the border between Randolph and Howard counties. It sits where Missouri Routes A and B meet. A stream called Moniteau Creek flows about two miles to the east of the city. The larger city of Moberly is about eight miles to the northeast.
The United States Census Bureau says that Higbee covers a total area of about 0.43 square miles (1.11 square kilometers). All of this area is land.
