Hilda is a small community known as a hamlet in southern Alberta, Canada. It is part of Cypress County. You can find Hilda about 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) east of Highway 41. It is also around 67 kilometers (42 miles) northeast of the city of Medicine Hat. The name "Hilda" was chosen in 1910. The person in charge of the post office at the time named it after his infant daughter.
