Humberstone Speedway was a cool place in Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada, where people raced cars on a 3/8-mile dirt track. It was an oval shaped track, meaning cars went around in circles. The track was made of clay, which is a special kind of dirt.
Every Sunday night, different kinds of race cars zoomed around the track. These included Mini Stocks, 4-Cylinder Trucks, Street Stocks, RUSH Late Models, and DIRT Sportsman cars. It was a popular spot for stock car racing fans.

Why Humberstone Speedway Closed
Humberstone Speedway announced that its 2024 racing season was its final one. This meant that after many years of exciting races, the track closed down. The company that owned the land, Rankin Construction, decided not to let the speedway use it anymore. No one knows yet what they plan to do with the land.
Exciting Events at the Speedway
Humberstone Speedway also hosted some really exciting special events! One was the Molson All-Canadian, a super long race day and night for all the different car types. Another was the yearly Eve of Destruction, where drivers had fun with demolition-style racing events. Imagine school buses racing or even blindfolded drivers trying to win! These events were always a big hit with fans.
