Imogene Peak is a really tall mountain located in Idaho. It stands at an amazing 10,125 feet (or about 3,086 meters) above sea level! This peak is part of the beautiful Sawtooth Range.
You can find Imogene Peak in Custer County, within the Sawtooth Wilderness. This wilderness area is part of the larger Sawtooth National Recreation Area.
Where is Imogene Peak Located?
Imogene Peak is situated in a stunning natural area. It's about 1.83 miles (or 2.95 kilometers) north of another peak called Parks Peak. Parks Peak is considered its "parent peak" because it's taller and closer.
There are also two lovely lakes near Imogene Peak. Farley Lake is located to the south of the peak. And Imogene Lake can be found to the west. These lakes add to the amazing scenery around the mountain.
How Can You Reach Imogene Peak?
The easiest way to get to the top of Imogene Peak is by Scrambling. This means you'll need to use both your hands and feet to climb over rocks and steep sections. It's a fun and challenging way to explore the mountain!
