Industry is a small village located in McDonough County, Illinois, in the United States. In 2020, about 399 people lived there. This number was a bit lower than in 2010, when 478 people called Industry home.

Exploring Industry's Location
Industry is found in the southern part of McDonough County. A major road, U.S. Route 67, runs right through the village. This road is known as Main Street. If you travel north on Route 67, you'll reach Macomb, which is the main town of the county, about 12 miles away. Going south for about 15 miles will take you to Rushville.
Understanding Industry's Area
The village of Industry covers a total area of about 0.46 square miles (1.19 square kilometers). Almost all of this area is land. Only a tiny bit, about 0.22%, is water. Water from the village flows north into Grindstone Creek. This creek eventually joins Camp Creek, which is part of the La Moine River system. The La Moine River then flows into the larger Illinois River.
