Iola is a small village located in Waupaca County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2020, about 1,236 people lived there. The village is surrounded by the towns of Iola and Scandinavia. It is said that the community was named after a princess from the Potawatomi Native American tribe.

According to the census from 2010, there were 1,301 people living in Iola. These people lived in 590 households, and 341 of these were families. The village had about 779 people per square mile (300 people per square kilometer).

What Iola is Known For
Iola is famous for hosting the annual Iola Car Show. This huge event brings in about 130,000 visitors! It features 2,500 show cars and has 4,000 spaces where people can buy and sell car parts and other items.
For many years, Iola was home to Krause Publications. This company published books for people who collect things like coins (called numismatics) and other hobbies. They also published Sports Collectors Digest. Even though the company was later bought by F + W Publications and moved, Iola was its original home.
Besides the car show, Iola has many local businesses, including restaurants, shops, and places that make things. It's also a great place for people who love the outdoors.
