Where is Irasburg?
The village of Irasburg is located in the central part of Orleans County. It sits on a hilltop. The Black River flows through the community. This river is a branch of Lake Memphremagog.
Roads and Travel
Several important roads pass through Irasburg village.
- Vermont Route 14 goes through the village. If you head north on Route 14, you will reach Coventry in about 5 miles (8 km). If you go southwest, you will get to Albany in about 7 miles (11 km).
- Vermont Route 58 also joins Route 14 in the village center. Route 58 goes east about 4 miles (6 km) to Orleans. If you travel west on Route 58, you will reach Lowell in about 9 miles (14 km).
- Newport is the main city of Orleans County. It is about 11 miles (18 km) northeast of Irasburg.
