Isaiah Butch Morris (born April 2, 1969) is a former professional basketball player from the United States. He played as a forward and was known for his skills on the court. Morris played for the Detroit Pistons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) during the 1992-93 season. Before turning professional, he played college basketball for San Jacinto College and the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Isaiah Morris's Basketball Journey
College Basketball Years
Isaiah Morris played college basketball for two different teams. He started at San Jacinto College, where he played from 1988 to 1990. After that, he moved to the University of Arkansas, playing for them from 1990 to 1992. His time in college helped him prepare for a career in professional basketball.
Joining the NBA
After his college career, Isaiah Morris was chosen in the 1992 NBA draft. The Miami Heat picked him in the second round, as the 37th overall player selected. This was a big step towards playing in the NBA.
Morris then joined the Detroit Pistons for the 1992-93 NBA season. He played in 25 games for the Pistons during that season. He averaged about 2.2 points in each game he played.
Playing Around the World
After his time in the NBA, Isaiah Morris played basketball in many different countries. He traveled to places like Venezuela, Spain, Uruguay, and Poland. He also played in Yugoslavia for a team called Red Star Belgrade. His career took him to Russia, the Dominican Republic, Greece, Cyprus, and Puerto Rico.
Morris was a tall player, standing six feet, eight inches (2.03 meters) tall. This height was a great advantage for him as a forward. He played for many different teams in various leagues across the globe.
Return to Arkansas
Later in his career, Isaiah Morris came back to Arkansas. He played for the Arkansas Aeros during the 2006–07 season. This team was part of the ABA. He officially ended his professional basketball career in 2007.
