Island City is a small city located in Union County, Oregon, in the United States. It was officially formed in 1904. The city got its name because it used to be on a piece of land surrounded by the Grande Ronde River and a small stream called a slough. Later, the stream was moved, so the city is no longer on an island. In 2020, about 1,144 people lived there.
