What You Do in the Game
In Island Saver, your main goal is to explore a big island. You need to clean it up! The island is covered in litter and sticky goop. As you clean, you earn special in-game coins.
Saving the Bankimals
These coins help you unlock new parts of the island. You also use them to save cute creatures called "bankimals." These animals are like living piggy banks. When you clean up, they get happy and give you coins.
Learning About Money
As you play, you don't just clean and explore. The game also teaches you important things about money. You'll learn how a bank account works. You'll also discover what taxes are and why we pay them. It's a fun way to learn about finances!
Extra Adventures
There are also two extra parts you can add to the game. These are called downloadable expansions. If you buy them, the money goes to help charities. These charities are SpecialEffect and Young Money.
More Fun with Island Saver
To help kids learn even more, there are special activity sheets. You can find these on the MoneySense part of NatWest's website. They are a great way to continue the learning from the game.
