Francisco Javier "Javi" de Pedro Falque (born 4 August 1973) is a Spanish retired footballer. He was known for his powerful left-foot shot.
Javi de Pedro mostly played as a left midfielder for Real Sociedad. He also played professionally in four other countries during his career. He even represented Spain at the 2002 World Cup.

Javi's Club Football Journey
Javi de Pedro was born in Logroño, La Rioja, Spain. He grew up playing football in the youth system of Real Sociedad. He first played for the main team on 7 November 1993.
He quickly became a very important player for Real Sociedad. He helped create many scoring chances and scored goals himself. In the 2002–03 season, his team finished second in La Liga. They were only two points behind the champions, Real Madrid.
Javi de Pedro also played in the 2003–04 UEFA Champions League. He scored a goal in a match against Juventus FC.
Playing for Other Teams
In June 2004, Javi de Pedro moved to England to play for Blackburn Rovers. He made his first appearance for them in a Premier League match on 14 August.
Later, in January 2005, he left Blackburn Rovers. He then played for Perugia Calcio in Italy for a short time. After that, he joined IFK Göteborg in Sweden, but he left after only a few days.
He also played some exhibition matches for Ergotelis F.C. in Greece. He then returned to Spain to play for Burgos CF. His last club was CD Vera in the Canary Islands. After this, he retired from playing football.
Representing His Country
Javi de Pedro played for the Spanish national team. His first game for Spain was on 23 September 1998. It was a friendly match against Russia.
He was part of the Spanish team that played in the 2002 FIFA World Cup. He started in all the matches for Spain in that tournament. His last game for the national team was in 2003.
Javi de Pedro also played for the Basque Country regional team. He scored goals in matches against Nigeria and Morocco.
