A Long Coma and Passing
On March 17, 1982, Jean-Pierre Adams went into a coma. This happened after he had an operation on his knee in Nîmes. The surgery was to fix a torn knee tendon.
During the operation, there was a mistake made by the person giving the anesthesia. This mistake caused Jean-Pierre to lose oxygen to his brain. This lack of oxygen led to him falling into a coma.
Jean-Pierre Adams remained in a coma for a very long time, almost 40 years. He sadly passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 73.
