Jeannie Camtu Mai (born January 4, 1979) is an American TV personality. She is well-known for hosting the makeover show How Do I Look? and the talk show The Real. Jeannie is also a fashion expert. She often appears on TV shows like Today and Entertainment Tonight. She has also hosted events like the American Music Awards and the Miss Universe pageants.

Early life and beginnings
Jeannie Mai was born and grew up in San Jose, California. Her father is Chinese Vietnamese, and her mother is Vietnamese. She went to Milpitas High School.
At 18, Jeannie started her career as a makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics. She traveled the world, working with celebrities like Christina Aguilera and Alicia Keys. She also became a makeup stylist for MTV's Total Request Live.
Becoming a TV host
In 2003, Jeannie began trying out for local TV networks. She wrote her own scripts to show her hosting skills. She was hired to co-host Stir, a show about Asian-American culture. Later, she hosted her own music countdown show for the California Music Channel. Jeannie then became an entertainment reporter and producer for The Daily Mixx.
First big roles
In 2005, Jeannie got her first major hosting job on Character Fantasy on the USA Network. On this show, she helped guests live out their dreams. After this, she moved to Los Angeles. She appeared on MTV's Granted and hosted fashion and entertainment news segments. She worked on channels like E!, Lifetime, TLC, and NBC. She also joined the beauty team on TLC's 10 Years Younger.

The Real and other shows
In 2013, Jeannie Mai became one of the hosts of the talk show The Real. The show started in July 2013 and became very popular. Jeannie was known for her fun personality and honest talks. She discussed many topics, from personal stories to pop culture and social issues. She hosted the show until it ended in 2022. In 2018, Jeannie and her co-hosts won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host for their work on The Real.

Personal life
Jeannie Mai is a Christian. She married Freddy Harteis in 2007, and they divorced in 2018.
In 2019, Jeannie announced she was dating rapper Jeezy. They got married in 2021 at their home in Atlanta, Georgia. In January 2022, Jeannie gave birth to their daughter. In September 2023, Jeezy filed for divorce, and their divorce was finalized in June 2024.
