The World of Jellabies
The Jellabies live in a magical place called the Jolly Jelly World. This world is found at the end of the rainbow! Their main job is to create beautiful rainbows for everyone. They use a special machine called the Jelliscope to do this. The Jelliscope can also check the weather around the world.
The show was created using CGI animation. This means everything you see on screen was made with computers. The stories were narrated by Rik Mayall. Even though each Jellaby has its own vehicle, they often travel long distances using the "Jelly Train." This train has a cab and one passenger car.
Jellikins: A Different Look
In some parts of the world, like the United Kingdom, the show is known as Jellikins. This version is almost the same as Jellabies. The main difference is that the characters' heads look like gummy bears instead of jelly. However, Duffy the dragon looks the same in both versions. The Jellikins version was shown on GMTV until 2004.
Meet the Characters
There are six main Jellabies, and each one represents a different color of the rainbow.
