Growing Up and Early Life

Jessi Cruickshank was born in Calgary, Alberta. She grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her mom, Joyce Resin, hosted a CBC show called Alive: The Picture of Health.

Jessi has an older sister, Amanda Grace. Amanda works as a reporter and anchor in Seattle. Jessi was even in a school comedy group with actor Seth Rogen! This helped her develop her funny skills for TV. She also studied English and Drama at the University of Toronto.

Jessi's TV Career

Jessi's first acting job was in a Christmas commercial. When she was a pre-teen, she had a small part in a TV movie called For Hope. This movie was directed by Bob Saget in 1996.
