Jessica Amy Barden (born on 21 July 1992) is an English actress. She started acting when she was a child. She is most famous for playing Alyssa Foley in the TV show The End of the F***ing World (2017–2019). She was also nominated for an award for her role in the film Scarborough (2018).
Jessica Barden has appeared in many other movies. These include Hanna (2011), The Lobster (2015), and Pink Skies Ahead (2020). On television, she has starred in the drama Lambs of God (2019) and the thriller Pieces of Her (2022). She also appeared in the romantic comedy You & Me (2023).

Jessica Barden was born on 21 July 1992. Her birthplace was Northallerton, North Yorkshire, England. Her family moved to Wetherby, West Yorkshire, when she was three years old.
Jessica's father worked as a prison officer. Her mother was an accountant. She has two brothers. Jessica went to Wetherby High School. She found her love for acting through school and her father's interest in movies. She started taking drama classes. She also worked as an extra in TV shows. Jessica left school when she was 15.
Jessica's Acting Career
Jessica Barden began her acting journey in 1999. Her first role was a small part in a CITV show called My Parents Are Aliens. After that, she appeared in episodes of other TV series. These included No Angels and The Chase.
Joining Coronation Street
When Jessica was 14, she joined the cast of the TV soap opera Coronation Street. She played the character Kayleigh Morton. She was on the show from March 2007 to September 2008. Her first movie role was in the 2007 comedy-drama Mrs Ratcliffe's Revolution. In 2009, she acted in a play called Jerusalem. This play was shown in London.
Film Roles and Recognition

Jessica Barden married director Max Winkler in March 2021. Max Winkler directed the movie Jungleland. On 19 October 2021, Jessica shared that they had welcomed their first child, a daughter.
