Jessica Alice Cave Lloyd (born 5 May 1987) is a talented English actress, comedian, and artist. Many people know her as Lavender Brown from the famous Harry Potter movies. Jessie is also a YouTuber, an author, and a cartoonist. She creates funny shows and has even published a book of her cartoon drawings called Love Sick. She also wrote a play called Sunrise and a novel named Sunset.

About Jessie Cave's Early Life
Jessie Cave was born in London, England, on May 5, 1987. She is the second oldest of five children. Her younger sister, Bebe Cave, is also an actress.
Jessie went to Latymer Upper School for her high school years. She was a very good swimmer and tennis player when she was younger. An injury at age 15 stopped her tennis career. She studied illustration and animation at Kingston University but left when she was 19. Before acting, she worked backstage in London theaters.

Becoming Lavender Brown
Jessie got the role of Lavender Brown in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. She won the part after an open audition in 2007. More than 7,000 girls tried out for the role! Jessie also did the voice for Lavender in the Harry Potter video games.

In 2009, Jessie performed in a play called Arcadia in London's West End. She also had a small part in the movie Inkheart that year.
