Jessy Mendiola is a talented Filipino actress. Her full name is Jessica Mendiola Tawile-Manzano, and she was born on December 3, 1992.
Jessy started her career early, appearing in TV commercials. When she was 13, she began acting in small roles in TV shows. In 2007, she officially joined ABS-CBN’s talent group, Star Magic Batch 15.
Over the years, she took on many supporting roles in TV series. Some of these include Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos? (2007) and Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo (2010). She became very well-known for her main roles in popular shows like Sabel (2010), Budoy (2011), Paraiso (2012), and Maria Mercedes (2013).
Jessy has also starred in several movies. Some of her notable films are The Reunion (2012), Call Center Girl (2013), and The Girl In The Orange Dress (2018).
Her acting skills have earned her several awards. She received the 'German Moreno Youth Achievement Award' in 2012. She was also the first Filipino to win the 'Best Asia Pacific Star' award at the 5th Asia Pacific Actors Network (APAN) Star Awards in South Korea.

Early Life and Family
Jessica Mendiola Tawile was born in Dubai, a city in the United Arab Emirates. Her father worked there at the time. She is the middle child of three daughters. Her mother, Judith Mendiola, is Filipino, and her father, Roger Tawile, is Lebanese.
When Jessy was three years old, her mother moved back to the Philippines with Jessy and her older sister, Pamela. Jessy's younger sister, Megan, was born in Mexico. Her parents later separated again. Jessy still keeps in touch with her father, who works as a marine anthropologist. She studied mass communication at Far Eastern University.
Acting Career
Jessy Mendiola was one of 18 new talents launched by ABS-CBN as part of Star Magic Batch 15. She joined the cast of Star Magic Presents: Abt Ur Luv Ur Lyf 2 in 2007. She also had a small role in Sineserye Presents: Natutulog Ba ang Diyos?.
In 2008, she played Chappy Girl in the TV series Volta. This show was based on the Star Cinema movie of the same name.
Early TV Roles
In 2010, Jessy made a guest appearance in George and Cecil. She played the love interest of Jun, a character played by Dino Imperial. Jessy was then cast as Christina in the TV series Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo. Her role was originally planned for only one week but was extended because viewers liked her.
She also appeared in Your Song Presents: Gimik 2010. In this show, she played Jessy, a reformed rebel teenager.

Leading Roles and Recognition
Jessy took on lead roles in episodes of Maalaala Mo Kaya: "Marriage Contract" and Wansapanataym: "Kakambal Ko'y Manika". Her first big break was playing the main character in the afternoon TV show, Sabel.
In 2011, after Sabel ended, Jessy joined ASAP Rocks. She became known as one of ASAP's 'Dance Quad'. She also played Isabel Valderama in Agimat: Ang Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla Presents: Bianong Bulag. Later that year, she played Jacqueline Marasigan in the primetime TV show, Budoy, alongside Gerald Anderson.
In 2012, she starred in the movie The Reunion. She also led the afternoon TV show Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Paraiso.
In 2013, Jessy played the main role in the Philippine version of Maria Mercedes. In October of that year, she was named an Honorary Ambassador for Korean Tourism by the Korea Tourism Organization.

In 2016, a men's magazine in the Philippines recognized her as a top beautiful woman. She was also included in TC Candler’s list of the “Most Beautiful Faces in the World” for three years in a row (2017-2019).
After a break from acting, Jessy signed a new contract with ABS-CBN and Star Magic in 2024.
Personal Life
Jessy Mendiola became engaged to TV host Luis Manzano on December 12, 2020. They had been dating since June 2016. They had a civil wedding on February 21, 2021, in Lipa, Batangas. They are parents to a daughter.
Jessy and Luis Manzano also had a church wedding on February 15, 2024, in Coron, Palawan. Both their parents were present, and their daughter was part of the ceremony.
