Jia Xiuquan (simplified Chinese: 贾秀全; traditional Chinese: 賈秀全; pinyin: Jiǎ Xiùquán; born 9 November 1963) is a Chinese football manager and former international player. He was known for his skills as a defender.

Playing Career Highlights
Club Football Journey
Jia Xiuquan spent most of his playing career with the Bayi Football Team. With Bayi, he helped them win two league titles. These wins happened in 1981 and again in the 1986 season. He also won the Chinese Football Association Golden Ball award three times. He received this award in 1983, 1984, and 1986.
His talent caught the eye of teams outside China. Jia became one of the first Chinese players to play in Europe. In 1988, he joined FK Partizan in Yugoslavia. He played 10 league matches in his first season there. He also made history by being the first Chinese player to play in the UEFA Cup. This happened in a match against AS Roma in 1988. Partizan also won the Yugoslav Cup during his time there.
After Yugoslavia, Jia played for the Malaysia Royal Police FA in Malaysia. Later, he moved to Japan. He played for Matsushita Electric SC in the 1991–92 Japan Soccer League. In 1993, he joined Gamba Osaka for the first season of the J.League. He played 25 league games for Gamba Osaka. This made him the first Chinese player to play in Japan's J.League.
Representing China
Jia Xiuquan started playing for the Chinese national team in 1982. He became very well-known during the 1984 AFC Asian Cup. China finished second in that tournament. Jia was named the Asian Cup Most Valuable Player for his excellent performance.
He was a regular player for China and captained the team from 1987 to 1992. During this time, he played in the 1988 AFC Asian Cup and 1992 AFC Asian Cup. He earned 55 caps, which means he played 55 international matches for his country. He also played for China at the 1988 Summer Olympics.
Coaching and Management
Starting as a Coach
After retiring as a player, Jia Xiuquan began his coaching career. He returned to Bayi Football Team as a coach for a short time. Later, he managed Shaanxi Guoli. He helped this new team get promoted to the second tier of the Chinese league in 1997.
His success led the Chinese Football Association to offer him a coaching role with the China national under-17 football team. However, the team did not qualify for major tournaments during his time there.
Working with Youth and Senior Teams
In 2000, Jia joined Shanghai Shenhua as a trainer. He then returned to Bayi Football Team again, working to keep them in the top league. He left Bayi at the end of the 2002 season.
Jia later coached the China national under-23 football team. He also had a period as interim head coach for Shanghai Shenhua in 2004. In 2005, he returned to manage the Chinese under-23 team permanently. This team was preparing for the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Managing Top Clubs
In 2008, Jia took on the role of manager for Henan Jianye in the top league. Later that year, he became the permanent manager for Shanghai Shenhua. He led Shanghai to a second-place finish in the league. He left the club after the 2009 season.
In 2010, Jia Xiuquan faced questions about his past work. However, after an investigation, all questions against him were dropped in March 2010. He was cleared.
On 2 June 2014, Jia was appointed as the new manager of Henan Jianye once more. From 2018 to 2021, he managed the China Women's national football team.
