Jodie Lee Ann Sweetin (born January 19, 1982) is an American actress and TV star. She is most famous for playing Stephanie Tanner in the TV show Full House and its sequel, Fuller House.

Early Life and School
Jodie Sweetin was born in Los Angeles, California. She was adopted and raised by her uncle and his wife when she was nine months old. She grew up as an only child.
In 1999, after Full House finished, Jodie graduated from Los Alamitos High School. She then went to Chapman University in Orange, California. While in high school, Jodie performed in musical plays with another actor, Matthew Morrison.
Acting Career
Jodie started acting in commercials, like one for the restaurant chain Sizzler in 1987. She also had a guest role in the TV show Valerie.
Full House and Fuller House
Jeff Franklin chose her to play Stephanie Tanner in the ABC comedy series Full House. She played this role from when she was five until she was 13 years old, when the show ended in 1995.
In 2015, it was announced that Jodie would play Stephanie Tanner again in the Netflix spin-off series Fuller House. This show ran for five seasons and ended in 2020.
Other TV Shows and Movies
Jodie returned to TV by hosting the second season of the Fuse dance show Pants-Off Dance-Off. She also starred in a TV pilot called Small Bits of Happiness, which won an award for Best Comedy.
In 2009, Jodie acted in two independent movies: Port City and Redefining Love. In 2011, she appeared in five online episodes of Can't Get Arrested. In 2012, she played Leia in the TV movie Singled Out.
On March 2, 2016, Jodie was announced as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars for season 22. Her dance partner was Keo Motsepe. They finished in sixth place.
In 2017, she starred in Hollywood Darlings, a comedy series where she played a funnier version of herself. The show lasted for two seasons.
Recent Work
In 2019, Jodie started a podcast called Never Thought I'd Say This. On the podcast, she talks about parenting with her best friend, Celia Behar, who is a mental health counselor.

Personal Life

As a child, Jodie took dance lessons, including ballet and tap, starting when she was three years old.
In 2002, when she was 20, Jodie married her first husband, Shaun Holguin, who was a Los Angeles Police officer. Her Full House co-star Candace Cameron was her maid of honor. Jodie and Shaun divorced in 2006.
Jodie met Cody Herpin, who worked in film, through friends. They got married in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 14, 2007. They have one daughter named Zoie, who was born in 2008. They divorced in 2010.
On April 30, 2010, Jodie's representative shared that she and her boyfriend, Morty Coyle, were expecting a baby. Their daughter Beatrix was born in 2010. Jodie and Morty got engaged in January 2011 and married on March 15, 2012, in Beverly Hills. They divorced in September 2016.
On January 17, 2022, Jodie announced her engagement to Mescal Wasilewski. They were married on July 30, 2022.
Beliefs and Causes
Jodie Sweetin has shown her support for the Black Lives Matter movement. She has also been involved with groups that encourage peaceful protests.
