Joe Duttine (born Jonathan Duttine on June 30, 1970) is a British actor. He is from Halifax, England. Sometimes, he is known as Jo Duttine.

Early life and training
Joe Duttine was born in Halifax. His father, Geoffrey, is the brother of another actor, John Duttine. Because of his uncle's fame, Joe changed his first name from Jonathan to Joe. This helped avoid confusion.
In 1989, Joe moved to London. He studied acting at the Drama Centre London until 1992. There, he learned a special acting method called Stanislavski's system. He studied alongside other actors like Craig Kelly and John Simm.

Joe Duttine started his television career in 1992. His first role was in the TV series Between the Lines. Since then, he has appeared in more than 25 different TV shows.

From 1994 to 1995, Joe played Steve Turner in 21 episodes of Pie in the Sky. He also appeared as D.C. Tony Finn in Serious and Organised. In Silent Witness, he played Craig Tate.
Other roles include Malcolm Cox in an episode of Life on Mars in 2006. He was also Toby Wilson in HolbyBlue in 2008. Joe played DS Carr in Coronation Street before returning as a different character. He was also a miner named Colin Farr in an episode of Dalziel and Pascoe.
