John Lyon, 4th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne (born 1663, died 1712) was an important Scottish nobleman. He held the title of Earl, which is a high rank in the nobility. John was the son of Patrick Lyon, 3rd Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne. He married Elizabeth Stanhope in 1691. John became the 4th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne after his father passed away.
