Joyeuse (pronounced "Jwah-yeuz") is a small town, also called a commune, located in France. It's part of the Ardèche area, which is like a county or "department", within the larger Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes "region". Joyeuse is also the main town, or "seat", of its local area called a canton. In 1999, about 1,487 people lived in Joyeuse.
