Julian Quintart was born on August 24, 1987, in Belgium. He is a talented person who lives and works in South Korea. Julian is known for many things: he's a TV star, a music producer, a DJ, a model, an actor, and a singer. You might know him from the popular TV talk show Non-Summit.

Life and Career in Korea
Early Life and Moving to Korea
Julian Quintart came to South Korea from Belgium when he was 17 years old. He was a student on a Rotary Youth Exchange program. When he arrived, a TV crew was at the airport and interviewed him. This was his first step into the world of Korean media!
Julian quickly learned about Korean culture and language. He had many amazing experiences that most foreigners don't get. He even visited North Korea and attended a training camp for the South Korean Army. He also learned to make kimchi in the traditional way and cycled across South Korea.
Julian learned to speak Korean very well in just a few years. He said he learned it because he wanted to talk clearly with Korean people. This made learning the language interesting and fun for him.
A Man of Many Talents
People often call Julian a "Jack of all trades" because he does so many different things. He has appeared on many TV shows like SBS Way to Eat Well and Live Well and KBS Star Golden Bell. He has also acted in dramas such as Sky High and performed on music shows like The Music Trend (Inkigayo).
Julian has been in movies too, including Papa and My Tutor Friend 2. He has held concerts, worked as a model, and is a skilled DJ and music producer. In 2006, he was even part of a boy band called Bonjour. He started DJing in Itaewon with his friend Yann Cavaille.
Acting Roles
Julian started acting in 2007 in the SBS drama Sky High. He played Daniel, an American who grew up in New York and could speak some Korean. He wanted to show a different kind of foreigner on screen, one who was "cute and cheerful" instead of "cold." Also in 2007, he had another role in the movie My Tutor Friend 2.
Television Appearances
From July 2014 to June 2015, Julian was a main cast member on the talk show Non-Summit. On this show, non-Korean men living in South Korea discussed different topics in fluent Korean. Julian's ability to speak Korean helped him shine on the show.
In February 2015, Julian visited his family in Belgium for the TV program "My Friends Home." His mother cooked special dishes for the TV crew.
Julian also appeared on the radio program The QUBE with Fabien Yoon. They invited foreigners living in South Korea to talk about music, history, and sports.
Music and Events
In September 2014, Julian's musical duo, Yann & Julian, was chosen to perform at Global Gathering Korea. This is a big music festival. On May 23, 2015, Julian, as a DJ, opened the Kpop Festival: Dream Concert 2015 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
Environmental and Charity Work
In January 2016, Julian started a project called LOUD FOR EARTH with the European community Asia. This project helps people learn how to save the planet in their daily lives. He asked people to send videos showing how they save energy. This project was connected to the COP 21 world meeting about climate change.
In winter 2016, Julian did volunteer work by bringing charcoal to elderly and poor people with the help of his fans.
In May 2017, Julian rode his bike 500 km from Busan to Seoul for a charity event called Cycle for Life Korea. He and others raised money for the Purme Foundation Nexon Children's Rehabilitation Hospital.
Julian is very passionate about protecting the environment. He is known as a climate expert and activist. He gives talks across South Korea about how companies and individuals can reduce their impact on the planet. He is also a leading supporter of veganism in Korea. He often organizes beach and Han River cleanups with his group "Volunteer Korea."
In June 2023, Julian opened NONOSHOP in Itaewon. This is a special shop that sells zero-waste and vegan products. You can also enjoy vegan pastries and attend talks about climate change and veganism there.
Ambassador and Family Life
In December 2016, Julian received the title of "Ambassador of the Liège Region" in Belgium. He sent a video explaining his life in South Korea for the ceremony.
In December 2018, Julian became an ambassador for the Hergé exhibition at the Seoul Arts Center. This exhibition celebrated 90 years since Hergé, the creator of Tintin, was born.
From December 2018 to January 2019, Julian's mother, Veronique, was on a TV show called Samcheondong Grandma. Six grandmothers from different countries lived together in a traditional Korean house. Julian appeared on the show when his parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary, wearing beautiful traditional Korean outfits called Hanbok.
In March 2019, the King and Queen of Belgium visited South Korea. Julian was invited to a special dinner at the Blue House (Cheongwadae) with the President of South Korea.
In May 2019, Julian was on the cover of his mother's cookbook, which features European recipes. The book also shares stories about Julian and his family. Julian appeared on TV and radio shows with his parents to promote the cookbook.
In December 2020, Julian was named an Honorary Citizen of Seoul, a special title given to foreigners who have contributed to the city.
Recent Activities
Since 2021, Julian has been very active in helping to save the planet. He organizes many beach and park cleanups. He also gives talks to young people, teaching them small ways they can help the environment.
In January 2022, Julian started a new TV show on JTBC called Talkpawon with other foreigners living in Seoul. The show is about visiting different countries. In June, Julian visited Barcelona, Spain, with his family. In September 2023, Julian and his family visited Italy.
