Kagel Canyon is nestled in the beautiful foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. It's part of the huge Angeles National Forest, which is a protected natural area.

This community is located in the southwestern part of the San Gabriel Mountains. If you look east from the City of San Fernando, you'll find Kagel Canyon. It's also north of the community called Lakeview Terrace.
Overlooking Valleys
Kagel Canyon sits above the northeastern part of the San Fernando Valley. From there, you can also see the western Crescenta Valley. It offers great views of the surrounding areas.
Population of the Area
In the year 2000, Kagel Canyon and its nearby community, Lopez Canyon, had a combined population. About 697 people lived in these two areas together.
