Karim-David Adeyemi (born on January 18, 2002) is a German professional footballer. He plays as a winger or forward. Karim currently plays for the German club Borussia Dortmund and the Germany national team.

Karim Adeyemi's Football Journey
Starting Out in Youth Football
Karim Adeyemi began his football journey at a young age. He first played for TSV Forstenried. When he was eight years old, he joined the youth academy of Bayern Munich in 2010.
After a couple of years, Karim left Bayern Munich. He then joined another club called SpVgg Unterhaching in 2012. He grew up playing through their youth teams. In March 2018, he made his first appearance for their Under-19 team. He scored his first goal in this league in April 2018.
Playing for Red Bull Salzburg
Before the 2018–19 season, Karim moved to Austria. He signed a three-year contract with Red Bull Salzburg. He was then loaned to their partner club, FC Liefering, for the season.
Karim made his debut in the 2. Liga on September 1, 2018. On December 1, 2020, he scored his first goal in the Champions League. This was a big moment for him and his team, Red Bull Salzburg.
Joining Borussia Dortmund
On May 10, 2022, it was announced that Karim Adeyemi would join the German club Borussia Dortmund. He signed a contract that would keep him there until the summer of 2027.
Karim scored his first Champions League goal for Borussia Dortmund on October 5. This was in a game against Sevilla. On February 4, 2023, he became the fastest player ever in the Bundesliga. He ran at an amazing speed of 36.65 kilometers per hour during a match!
Later that month, on February 15, he scored the only goal in a 1–0 win against Chelsea in the Champions League. On March 30, 2024, he scored the first goal in a 2–0 win against Bayern Munich. This was a special win for Dortmund, as it was their first victory against Bayern since 2019.
On October 1, 2024, Karim scored his first hat-trick (three goals in one game) in the Champions League. This happened in a big 7–1 home win against Celtic.
Karim Adeyemi's International Career
Representing Germany
Karim Adeyemi was born in Munich, Germany. His father is from Nigeria, and his mother is from Romania. He has played for Germany's youth national teams, including the Under-16, Under-17, and Under-21 teams.
He made his debut for the Germany senior team on September 5, 2021. This was in a 6–0 win against Armenia. Karim came on as a substitute late in the game and scored Germany's sixth goal. When he made his debut, he was playing for Red Bull Salzburg. This was the first time since World War II that a player from an Austrian club played for the German senior national team.
World Cup Experience
In November 2022, Karim was chosen to be part of the German squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Even though he was part of the team, he did not play in any matches. Germany was knocked out of the tournament in the group stage.
