The Kaumajet Mountains are a cool mountain range in northern Labrador, Canada. They are special because they rise right out of the sea, making for some amazing views! These mountains are part of the Arctic Cordillera, a huge chain of mountains that stretches across Canada's Arctic.

The Kaumajet Mountains are known for their dramatic look. They are a compact group of mountains that seem to pop up directly from the ocean. One of their peaks is super tall, reaching over 1,200 meters (4,000 feet)! This makes it the highest peak on an island along the entire east coast of North America, from the warm Caribbean Sea all the way up to the chilly Hudson Strait.
The tallest mountain in the Kaumajet Mountains is called Brave Mountain. It stands at an impressive 1,300 meters (4,265 feet) high.
