Kellevie is a small country area located in Tasmania, Australia. It's part of the Sorell local government area. Kellevie is about 28 kilometers (17 miles) east of the town of Sorell. In 2016, a count of people living there, called a census, showed that 164 people lived in Kellevie.
A Look Back in Time: Kellevie's History
Kellevie officially became known as a "locality" (a specific area) in 1972. Before that, it had a post office called Upper Carlton Post Office, which opened on January 1, 1874. This post office was renamed Kellevie in 1886 and stayed open until 1968.

A river called the Carlton River flows through Kellevie. It starts in the north-west part of the area and flows towards the south.
Getting Around: Roads in Kellevie
There are two main roads in Kellevie. Route C335, also known as Kellevie Road, comes into the area from the south and goes all the way to the north-west, where it leaves. Another road, Route C336 (Bream Creek Road), starts where it meets Kellevie Road. It then goes north-east before leaving the area.
