Kristian Konstantinov Kostov (Bulgarian: Кристиан Константинов Костов) is a talented singer from Bulgaria and Russia. He was born on March 15, 2000. Kristian became well-known after appearing on TV singing competitions.
He was a finalist on the first season of The Voice Kids Russia. Later, he was the runner-up in the fourth season of X Factor Bulgaria. In 2017, Kristian proudly represented Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. His song was called "Beautiful Mess". He achieved an amazing second place in the competition.
In January 2018, Kristian won the EBBA Public Choice award. This award celebrates new artists who have found success outside their home country. In 2019, he joined seven other singers on the seventh season of Singer in China.

Kristian's Early Life
Kristian Kostov was born in Moscow, Russia. His mother is from Kazakhstan, and his father is from Bulgaria. He has an older brother named Daniel and a younger sister named Sofia.
Growing up, Kristian learned several languages. He learned Bulgarian from his father. His brother taught him English. He also learned some Kazakh from his grandfather.
Kristian's Music Journey
Starting Out: The Voice Kids and X Factor
Kristian first appeared on the Russian version of The Voice. He was part of the very first season of The Voice Kids. His coach was the famous singer Dima Bilan. Dima Bilan helped Kristian reach the finals of the show.
After his success in Russia, Kristian decided to try out for X Factor Bulgaria. He has Bulgarian roots, so he wanted to compete there. He made it through the auditions and became one of the top male singers. He reached the live shows and eventually became a finalist.
In the finals, he performed many songs. He sang "Позови меня" by Lyube by himself. He also sang a duet with Vasil Naydenov called "Сбогом, Моя Любов". His final song was "Ако си Дал" by Emil Dimitrov. Kristian finished as the runner-up in the competition.

Eurovision and Beyond

In October 2016, Kristian released his first song, "Ne si za men". It was released by Virginia Records. This song became quite popular in Bulgaria. He also sang on a song called "Vdigam Level" with Pavell and Venci Venc'.
A big moment for Kristian came on March 13, 2017. It was announced that he would represent Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. His song was "Beautiful Mess". He performed incredibly well and finished in second place. This was a huge achievement for him and for Bulgaria.
Kristian on Singer in China
On January 11, 2019, Kristian Kostov was announced as a contestant on Singer. This is a very popular singing competition in China. He was one of seven main performers in the seventh season.
Kristian was the youngest contestant ever on Singer at just 18 years old. He competed against many experienced Chinese singers. He performed various songs during the competition.
