Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness is a fun computer-animated TV show based on the popular Kung Fu Panda movies. It's also known as Kung Fu Panda: The Series or simply Legends of Awesomeness. This show brings more adventures of Po and his friends to the small screen!
The series was first planned to air on Nickelodeon in 2010. But it was delayed and finally started in 2011. The first episode premiered on November 7, 2011. There were also two special sneak peeks before that, on September 19 and October 21. A total of 52 episodes were made for the series.
When the show was created, some of the original movie voice actors returned. For example, Lucy Liu came back to voice Viper. James Hong also returned as Mr. Ping. However, some characters got new voices. Mick Wingert became the new voice for Master Po. He took over from Jack Black, who voiced Po in the movies.
