LG's Claim About the iPhone's Design
LG Electronics believed that the iPhone's design looked very similar to their LG Prada phone. Woo-Young Kwak, who was in charge of LG Mobile Handset research, said something interesting. He stated that Apple might have copied the LG Prada phone. This was after the Prada phone won a design award in September 2006. LG later said that Apple took both the ideas and the look of the Prada phone. There were rumors that LG might sue Apple, but LG did not say if they would.
