Lakeside is in Coos County, Oregon. It is found along U.S. Route 101. The city is only about 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) from the Pacific Ocean.
It is about 15 miles (24 km) north of Coos Bay. Lakeside is also about 197 miles (317 km) southwest of Portland.
