Early Years: USK Hof and Herforder SV
Laura began her senior football journey with USK Hof in Austria's top league, the ÖFB-Frauenliga. She played there for two years, from 2008 to 2010. During this time, she played in 36 games and scored 9 goals.
In 2010, at just 18 years old, Laura moved to Germany to play for Herforder SV. This team was in the Frauen-Bundesliga, which is the highest level of women's football in Germany. She played 18 games and scored 7 goals for Herforder. She left the club when they moved down to a lower league.
Success at Bayern Munich
In 2011, Laura joined FC Bayern Munich, a very famous club in the Bundesliga. In her first year, she helped the team win the DFB Pokal, which is an important cup competition in German women's football.
In 2014, Laura had a serious injury, breaking her shin and fibula (bones in her lower leg). Even with this setback, her contract with Bayern Munich was renewed in 2015. She then helped her team win the Bundesliga title two years in a row, in 2014–2015 and 2015–2016. She played 62 games for Bayern Munich before leaving in 2016.

After Bayern Munich, Laura wanted to play more regularly, so she moved to SC Sand for the 2016–2017 season. In her first season there, her team was runner-up in the DFB Pokal. She played for SC Sand for two seasons, appearing in 39 games and scoring 5 goals.
In 2018, Laura signed a two-year contract with 1. FFC Frankfurt, another Bundesliga team. In her first year with them, she played 21 games and scored 10 goals. The club later became part of Eintracht Frankfurt.
