Laura Feiersinger (born 5 April 1993) is a talented Austrian footballer. She plays as a midfielder for the German club 1. FC Köln. Laura also represents the Austrian national team.

Laura Feiersinger's Club Journey
Starting with USK Hof (2008–2010)
Laura began her professional football journey with USK Hof in Austria. This was in the ÖFB-Frauenliga, which is Austria's top women's football league. She played for two years, appearing in 36 games and scoring 9 goals.
Moving to Herforder SV (2010–2011)
At 18, Laura moved to Germany to join Herforder SV. This team played in the Frauen-Bundesliga, Germany's highest league. She played 18 games and scored 7 goals. Herforder SV was later moved down to a lower league, called the 2. Frauen-Bundesliga.
Success at Bayern Munich (2011–2016)
In 2011, Laura joined FC Bayern Munich, a very famous club. In her first year, she helped them win the DFB Pokal. This is an important cup competition in German women's football.
In 2014, Laura had a serious injury, breaking her shin and fibula bones. But she worked hard and her contract was renewed in 2015. She then helped Bayern Munich win the Frauen Bundesliga league title two years in a row, in 2014–2015 and 2015–2016. She played 62 games for the club before leaving in 2016.
Playing for SC Sand (2016–2018)
Laura joined SC Sand in 2016 to get more playing time. In her first season, her team was the runner-up in the 2016–17 DFB-Pokal Frauen cup. She played 39 games and scored 5 goals during her two seasons there.
Time at FFC Frankfurt (2018–2023)
In 2018, Laura signed a two-year contract with 1. FFC Frankfurt, another Bundesliga team. In her first year, she played 21 games and scored 10 goals.
Winning with AS Roma (2023-2024)
Laura then moved to Italy to play for AS Roma. With this team, she helped them win both the league title and the cup, which is called an "Italian double."
Joining 1. FC Köln (2024-Present)
In June 2024, Laura Feiersinger signed with 1. FC Köln. She is currently playing for this club.
Laura Feiersinger's International Career
Laura has been a key player for the Austrian national team since 2010.
In 2016, she helped Austria win the Cyprus Cup. She was also part of the team that made history by qualifying for their first major tournament. This was the UEFA Women's Euro 2017 in the Netherlands.
The Austrian team did incredibly well at the Euro 2017. They reached the semi-finals, which is like the final four teams. They lost to Denmark in a very close game that was decided by penalty shots. Laura played every single minute of every game for Austria in that tournament.
Laura was also part of the Austrian squad that played in the UEFA Women's Euro 2022.

Laura Feiersinger's Life Outside Football
Laura grew up in Saalfelden, Austria. When she was younger, she tried many different sports. These included biathlon (skiing and shooting), athletics (running, jumping), cross-country skiing, and football.
At age 15, she decided to focus only on football. Her father, Wolfgang Feiersinger, was also a famous footballer. He won the Champions League with Borussia Dortmund and played for the Austrian national team.
Laura also studied at university and earned a bachelor's degree in sports science. In 2023, Laura and her sister, Denise Feiersinger

Laura Feiersinger is an official ambassador for UEFA's "#WePlayStrong" campaign. This campaign uses social media and videos to promote women's football.
