Laura Tesoro is a talented Belgian singer and actress. She became well-known when she represented her country, Belgium, in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. Her song for the contest was called "What's the Pressure".
Laura is also famous for her acting roles. She played Charlotte in the Flemish TV show Familie. She also came in second place on the third season of The Voice van Vlaanderen. Today, Laura is one of the coaches on The Voice Kids. She also coaches artists on the "Comeback Stage" of The Voice van Vlaanderen.

About Laura Tesoro
Early Life and First Steps in Her Career (1996–2014)
Laura Tesoro was born on August 19, 1996, in Antwerp, Belgium. Her father is Italian, and her mother is Belgian.
She started acting at a young age. In 2008, she had her first acting role in a crime drama called Witse. After that, she performed in musicals like Annie and Domino. She also sang at a music event called Ketnetpop in 2009.
From 2012 to 2014, Laura played the character Charlotte in the TV show Familie. Charlotte was a love interest for another character named Guido.
In 2014, Laura joined the third season of The Voice van Vlaanderen. She was part of Team Koen and ended up as the runner-up in the competition. That same year, she released her first song, "Outta Here". This song reached number 23 on the Belgian Flemish Singles Chart.
Eurovision and Beyond (2015–Present)
In 2015, Laura released her second song, "Funky Love". Later that year, she was chosen as one of five singers to compete in Eurosong 2016. This competition decides who will represent Belgium at Eurovision.

In the first show of Eurosong, she sang a cover of "Düm Tek Tek". This song was originally performed by Hadise for Turkey in Eurovision 2009. In the second show, Laura introduced her own song for Eurovision, "What's the Pressure". The audience loved it and gave her the highest votes.
On January 17, 2016, Laura won the final of Eurosong 2016. Both the Belgian public and international judges chose her. She then represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden. She performed very well and finished in tenth place in the final.
In 2016, Laura also lent her voice to the Flemish version of the DreamWorks movie Trolls. She played the role of Poppy. She also voiced Moana in the Flemish version of the movie Moana.
On April 28, 2017, she released the song "Higher", which reached number 20 on the Flemish Singles Chart. On October 27, 2017, she released another song called "Beast". Laura is also a skilled boxer, and the music video for "Beast" shows off her boxing talents.
Since 2017, Laura Tesoro has been a coach on The Voice Kids Vlaanderen. In late 2019, she released the song "Limits". This song was the first single from her debut album, also called Limits, which came out on October 24, 2019. Another song from the album, "Press Pause", was released a few weeks later.
Since 2021, Laura has been a "Comeback Stage" coach on The Voice van Vlaanderen. She helps artists who were eliminated get a second chance. In 2024, her team won the show when Christophe Verholle, whom she coached, became the winner.
