Leading Creek is a river in southeastern Ohio, United States. It is about 29.5 miles (47.5 kilometers) long. This creek is a tributary, which means it flows into a larger river. Leading Creek flows into the Ohio River.

The water from Leading Creek eventually joins the Mississippi River. It drains an area of about 150 square miles (388 square kilometers). This area is part of the Allegheny Plateau, a region that was not covered by glaciers long ago.

Where Leading Creek Starts and Flows

Leading Creek begins in southern Athens County. Its source is northwest of Albany, in Lee Township. From there, it flows south into Meigs County.
