Leon Lopez was born on August 30, 1979, in Liverpool, England. He is a talented British actor, director, and singer. Many people know him for playing Jerome Johnson in the TV show Brookside from 1998 to 2002. He also appeared as Linford Short in the BBC show EastEnders in 2016. Leon Lopez has also directed films, with his first movie, Soft Lad, coming out in 2015.

After signing his record deal, Leon worked with Take That star Gary Barlow. They co-wrote his first album, 'Movin On'. His first single, 'Love Got in the Way', came out in August 2007. His first studio album, 'Moving On', was released on February 1, 2010.
Second Studio Album
Leon is currently working on his second album. It is planned to be an 'electro' inspired album.
Live Performances
Leon sang at the opening ceremony of the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. Over 500 million people around the world watched him perform live. Leon has also sung his single on TV shows like Loose Women. He has performed at many concerts.
Music Achievements
Leon was part of a pop group called A:M. This group was nominated for a MOBO AWARD for best unsigned act. They also won several other awards. These included Holstein Pills Discovers and the Liverpool Echo Arts award for 'Best Unsigned Act'.
