Alexis Alijai Lynch (born February 19, 1998 – died January 1, 2020) was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. She was known by her stage name, Lexii Alijai.

Early Life and Music Beginnings
Lexii Alijai grew up in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Music was a big part of her family. Her grandfather was Roger Troutman, who started the famous funk band Zapp. Her father, Roger Lynch, was also a musician.
Lexii first went to Como Park Senior High School and liked playing basketball. But soon, she became more interested in music. She moved to Creative Arts Secondary School and then tried online schooling. Eventually, she decided to focus completely on her music career. She started rapping over popular songs by artists like Dej Loaf, 2Pac, and Drake.
Lexii Alijai's Music Career
Lexii Alijai released her first mixtape, Super Sweet 16s, in 2014. This was on her sixteenth birthday! She then worked with rapper Rocky Diamonds on a project called 3 Days.
Later that year, she released two more mixtapes: In the Meantime and Feel∙Less. In 2015, she teamed up with rapper Shaun Sloan for a mixtape called Same Struggle. Different Story.
Working with Kehlani
Lexii became good friends with singer Kehlani. Lexii was featured on Kehlani's song "Jealous" from her mixtape You Should Be Here (2015). This song helped Lexii get noticed because of her strong lyrics and rapping style.
More Music and Performances
Lexii released another project called Joseph's Coat in late 2015. It included help from singer Elle Varner. In 2016, Lexii performed at the Soundset Music Festival. She also opened shows for other popular artists like Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, and Rich the Kid.
She created her own versions of popular songs. These included "Exchange" by Bryson Tiller and "Cold Hearted" by Meek Mill. She even made a music video for her "Cold Hearted" remix. In 2017, she remixed "Redbone" by Childish Gambino and "Me, Myself and I" by Beyoncé.
Debut Album: Growing Pains
On September 8, 2017, Lexii Alijai released her first full studio album, Growing Pains. In this album, she sang about real-life experiences. These included leaving school and keeping a good relationship with her ex-boyfriend's mom.
Lexii Alijai's Passing
Lexii Alijai sadly passed away on January 1, 2020, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was 21 years old.
