Leyla Guliyeva (born on June 26, 1986) is a famous television presenter from Azerbaijan. She is known for hosting big events.
In May 2012, Leyla was one of the main hosts for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. This huge music show took place in Baku, Azerbaijan. She hosted it alongside Eldar Gasimov and Nargiz Birk-Petersen.
Her Career in TV
Leyla Guliyeva studied music at the Baku Academy of Music. She learned how to lead a choir, which is a group of singers. She also earned a special degree in music.
In 2004, when she was just starting her studies, she began working at İTV. This is a TV channel in Azerbaijan. She joined their team that focuses on music, art, and fun shows.
By 2007, Leyla started reporting on news about the Eurovision Song Contest. She quickly became an important part of the team that organized Eurovision for İTV.
Leyla also represented Azerbaijan in 2008. She was the person who announced her country's first voting results. This was Azerbaijan's very first time joining the contest, which was held in Belgrade, Serbia.
Later, in 2011 and 2012, she helped host the shows where Azerbaijan chose its singers for Eurovision. She did this with Husniyya Maharramova.

Leyla Guliyeva is married to Abbas Guliyev. He also works at İTV as a director, which means he helps create TV shows. Leyla and Abbas have a daughter together.
