Amazing Awards for Up
Up received many awards and nominations. Most of these were for being the Best Animated Picture or for its wonderful music, which was created by Michael Giacchino.
At the 2010 Academy Awards, Up was nominated for five awards. It won two of them: Best Animated Feature and Best Original Score. The film also won two Golden Globes at the 67th Golden Globe Awards. These were for Best Animated Feature Film and Best Original Score.
Up was nominated for nine Annie Awards in eight different groups. It won Best Animated Feature and Best Directing in a Feature Production. The movie was also chosen as the Summer Movie Comedy at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards. It received three Grammy Award nominations at the 52nd Grammy Awards and won two of them.
Jonas Rivera won the Producer of the Year Award at the Producers Guild of America Awards. Pete Docter, Bob Peterson, and Michael Giacchino also won awards from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) for their work on the film.
