The Little Androscoggin River is a river in Maine, USA. It is about 51 miles (82 kilometers) long. This river starts at Bryant Pond in Woodstock. It then flows into the Androscoggin River in Auburn. The Androscoggin River eventually reaches Merrymeeting Bay.

The Little Androscoggin River flows through many towns and cities. It passes through Woodstock, Greenwood, and West Paris. The river also goes through Paris, including the village of South Paris.
Other places it flows through are Norway, Oxford, and Mechanic Falls. Finally, it travels through Minot, Poland, and the city of Auburn.

Thompson Lake is the largest lake in the Little Androscoggin River area. The northern part of the lake flows into the Little Androscoggin River. This happens near the village of Oxford.
The lake forms a border between different towns. It is between Otisfield on one side and Oxford and Poland on the other. The very southern tip of the lake is in Casco.
Water Flowing into Thompson Lake
Greeley Brook is the biggest stream that flows into Thompson Lake. It travels about 7 miles (11 kilometers) from Sand Pond in Norway. Smaller streams also feed the lake. These include Knights Brook and Jerry Brook in Otisfield. Potash Brook in Poland also adds water to the lake.
Fish in Thompson Lake
Thompson Lake is a great home for different kinds of fish. You can find smallmouth bass and largemouth bass here. The lake has also been stocked with trout. This means that trout have been added to the lake to help their population grow.
