History of Little Creek
Little Creek has a long history. In 1748, a famous Quaker named John Woolman visited a Quaker meeting in Little Creek. Quakers are a religious group known for their peaceful beliefs.
Several old and important buildings in Little Creek are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This means they are special and protected because of their history. Some of these include the Cherbourg Round Barn, the Little Creek Methodist Church, and the Old Stone Tavern. The Port Mahon Lighthouse is also a historic landmark nearby.
