The Little Kesagami River starts at a place called Little Kesagami Lake. This lake is just west of Ontario Highway 652. From there, the river flows north. It continues its journey until it reaches the Kesagami River.

The Kesagami River then flows into the Harricana River. Finally, the Harricana River carries these waters into James Bay. James Bay is a large body of water connected to the Arctic Ocean.
