Luciano Ariel Pereyra (born September 21, 1981) is a famous Argentine singer and songwriter. He is known for his mix of folk and pop music. Luciano started his music career very young and has become one of Argentina's most loved artists.

Luciano Pereyra's Early Life and Career
Luciano Pereyra was born on September 21, 1981. When he was just three years old, his parents noticed his musical talent. They gave him a guitar for Christmas. The next year, he appeared on a TV show called ATC.
At nine years old, Luciano joined Festilindo, a TV program for talented children. He also sang "Sólo le pido a Dios" by León Gieco on Xuxa's TV show. This song became very special for him. In 2000, he sang it for Pope John Paul II in Vatican City. He represented Latin America at the Jubilee Youth event.
His Music Journey and Hit Songs
Luciano Pereyra recorded his first album in 1998. It was called Amaneciendo (Dawning). This album had 13 songs. It mixed different styles like zambas, carnavalitos, waltzes, and ballads. His first big hit was "Soy un inconsciente" (I'm reckless). This song became very popular and sold a lot of copies.
In 1999, Luciano performed a concert in Buenos Aires. He sang at the famous Teatro Opera.

In March 2000, his second album, Recordándote (Remembering You), came out. It included his famous song "Sólo le pido a Dios." This album was number one in Argentina for three weeks. A year later, Luciano was chosen for a special honor. He sang the Argentine National Anthem at Diego Maradona's farewell soccer match.
Luciano has sung with many other artists. He has performed duets with Rodrigo Bueno, Soledad Pastorutti, and Alejandro Lerner. In June 2002, he released his third album, Soy Tuyo (I'm yours). This album had influences from bolero and tango. He then toured South America and performed six concerts at the Teatro Gran Rex.
In 2003, Luciano Pereyra was in a movie called Tus ojos brillaban (Your eyes sparkled). On June 22 of that year, he released his album Luciano. It included songs he wrote himself, like "Perdóname" (Forgive Me).
In November 2006, he released his fifth album, Dispuesto a amarte (Willing to Love You). A romantic song from this album, "Porque aún te amo" (Because I Still Love You), became a big hit.
In November 2008, Luciano Pereyra released the song "No puedo" (I can't). He wrote and composed this song himself. The music video for "No puedo" featured model Florencia Torrente.
