Malabar is a small town located in Brevard County, Florida. It's part of a larger area that includes the cities of Palm Bay, Melbourne, and Titusville, Florida. This larger area is sometimes called a "Metropolitan Statistical Area," which just means it's a region with a big city and its surrounding communities that are closely connected.
In 2020, the town had a population of 2,949 people. This was a bit more than the 2,757 people who lived there in 2010. Malabar officially became a town in 1962.

Malabar is found in the state of Florida, in the United States. It is located at coordinates 27°59′39″N 80°34′53″W / 27.994286°N 80.581266°W.
The town covers a total area of about 13.2 square miles (34.36 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 10.6 square miles (27.70 square kilometers), is land. The rest, about 2.6 square miles (6.66 square kilometers), is water.
