Malone is a small town located in Jackson County, Florida, in the United States. In 2020, about 1,959 people lived there. The town was officially started in 1911.

Geography of Malone

Malone is found in the northern part of Jackson County. Its exact location is 30°57′26″N 85°09′40″W / 30.957162°N 85.161230°W / 30.957162; -85.161230.

A main road, Florida State Road 2, goes through the middle of town. It is also known as 8th Avenue. This road goes east about 9 miles to the Georgia border. It also goes west about 15 miles to Campbellton.

Another important road, State Road 71, crosses through Malone as 10th Street. It meets State Road 2 in the town center. State Road 71 goes north about 4 miles to the Alabama border. It also travels south about 15 miles to Marianna, which is the main city in Jackson County.

The United States Census Bureau says that Malone covers an area of about 3.05 square miles (7.9 square kilometers). All of this area is land, with no water.
