Fans of Roma remember him for scoring goals against their big rivals, Lazio. He also helped Roma win the league title in 2001. Marco played for the Italian national team 22 times. He scored 4 goals for his country between 1998 and 2004. He played in the UEFA Euro 2000 tournament, where Italy reached the final. He even scored a goal in that final! Marco Delvecchio started his professional football journey in Milan, Italy. He began with Inter in 1992. He also played for Venezia and Udinese early in his career.
Joining AS Roma: A Key Player
In 1995, Marco joined Roma. This was a big step in his career. He became a very important player for the team. With Roma, he achieved his biggest success.
Winning the Scudetto with Roma
In 2001, Marco helped Roma win the Scudetto. This is the Italian league championship. It was a huge win for the club. After that, they also won the Italian Super Cup in 2001. Playing for the Senior Italian Team
