Maricourt Lake is a freshwater lake in Quebec, Canada. It is located in the north-eastern part of Senneterre, within the La Vallée-de-l'Or Regional County Municipality. The Macho River flows right through it.
The lake is entirely within the Maricourt township. The main work in this area is forestry, which means cutting down trees for wood. After forestry, fun activities like fishing and boating (recreational tourism) are also very important.
You can reach Maricourt Lake by forest roads. One road goes along the north side of the lake and through the Lake Wetetnagami Biodiversity Reserve. Another road serves the southern part of this reserve and the west side of the lake.
The surface of Maricourt Lake is usually frozen from early November until mid-May. However, it's generally safe to walk or play on the ice from mid-November to mid-April.
