Mark Iuliano (born 12 August 1973) is an Italian football manager. He used to be a professional footballer who played as a defender. After he stopped playing, he started working as a coach.
Iuliano played most of his career with Juventus in Serie A, Italy's top football league. With Juventus, he won many important trophies both in Italy and internationally. He also played for the Italy national football team. He represented Italy at UEFA Euro 2000, where his team reached the final. He also played in the 2002 FIFA World Cup.

Playing Career Highlights
Starting with Salernitana
Mark Iuliano was born in Cosenza, Italy. He began his professional football journey with Salernitana Calcio in 1990. In 1992, he went on loan to Bologna FC for a season. He scored one goal in 24 games there.
After returning to Salerno, he was loaned out again in 1993. This time, Iuliano played for AC Monza, where he made 16 appearances. After these loan spells, Iuliano came back to Salernitana Calcio. He became a regular player, making over 85 appearances and scoring one goal. He played as both a central defender and a full-back.
Time at Juventus
Iuliano's strong performances at Salernitana caught the attention of big clubs. In July 1996, he joined Serie A giants Juventus. He quickly became a key player as Juventus continued to dominate Italian and European football. He made his Serie A debut on 15 September 1996. Juventus won that game 2–1 against Cagliari Calcio.
In his first season, he played 21 league games and scored one goal. This helped Juventus win the league title that season. During the 1997–98 season, Iuliano was involved in a famous moment. It happened in a match against Inter in April 1998. There was a collision between Iuliano and Inter's player Ronaldo in the penalty area. Inter players believed it should have been a penalty, but the referee allowed play to continue. Juventus later won the match 1–0 and went on to win the league title. This incident is still talked about in Italian football.
Iuliano became a regular starter for Juventus. He was part of one of the best defenses in the world at that time. Juventus was known for letting in very few goals. Iuliano formed strong defensive partnerships with players like Ciro Ferrara, Paolo Montero, and Lilian Thuram. He played for Juventus for nearly 10 years.
In January 2005, Iuliano left Juventus for the Spanish team RCD Mallorca. He had played over 200 games for Juventus, scoring nearly 15 goals. During his time at Juventus, Iuliano won four Serie A titles. He also won an Intercontinental Cup and a UEFA Super Cup. He also won three Italian Supercups. He reached three UEFA Champions League finals and two Coppa Italia finals.
Moving to Mallorca
Iuliano joined RCD Mallorca in the Spanish La Liga in the summer of 2005. He stayed with the club for only one season. He played 29 games and scored 4 goals during his time there.
Short Stays in Italy
Iuliano returned to Italy in January 2006. He joined Serie A club UC Sampdoria. He stayed with the Genoa-based club for just six months. He made only four league appearances before leaving in July.
After Sampdoria, Iuliano moved to the Sicilian club FC Messina Peloro in the summer of 2006. Messina was relegated to Serie B in the 2006–2007 Serie A season. Iuliano played 24 games for the club and scored 1 goal. After Messina's relegation, his contract was not renewed.
Time at Ravenna
In January 2008, Iuliano signed with Serie B side Ravenna Calcio. He played 10 games for the club, scoring 2 goals.
Retirement from Playing
After his time at Ravenna, Mark Iuliano decided to end his playing career. He officially retired from professional football in March 2012. He was 38 years old at the time.
Playing for Italy
Iuliano was a regular player for the Italy national football team. He received his first call-up in 1998 and his last in 2003. He played for Italy at UEFA Euro 2000, where Italy finished second. He also played in the 2002 FIFA World Cup. He made 19 international appearances and scored one goal for his country. His first game for Italy was on 5 September 1998 against Wales. He scored his only international goal against Portugal on 26 April 2000.

Coaching Career
After retiring as a player, Iuliano started coaching. In 2012, he became a youth coach for Pavia.
In July 2014, Iuliano was appointed youth coach at Serie B club Latina. On 5 January 2015, he was promoted to head coach. His goal was to help the club avoid relegation. He left the role in November 2015.
On 26 May 2017, he became the head coach of Como. Later that year, on 26 July 2017, Iuliano agreed to become the new head coach for the Albanian club FK Partizani Tirana.
On 24 April 2018, he was appointed as an assistant coach for Udinese. He worked alongside the head coach Igor Tudor.
