Marvel Future Avengers (which is called Māberu fu~yūchā abenjāzu in Japanese) is an exciting anime TV show. It was made by Madhouse and Walt Disney Japan. The story is based on the amazing Marvel Comics universe.

The first season of the show started in July 2017 and had 26 episodes. It aired on the Dlife channel. A second season with 13 episodes followed in 2018. Later, the series became available around the world on Disney+ in 2020.

What is Marvel Future Avengers About?

The series tells the story of three teenagers named Makoto, Adi, and Chloe. They were raised by a bad group called Hydra. Hydra tricked them into believing they were training to be superheroes. They were also told that the Avengers were villains!

These three teens were given special powers by Hydra. When they went on their first mission, Adi and Chloe realized Hydra was evil. They decided to leave the group and tried to get Makoto to escape with them. Only Makoto managed to get away.

Makoto went to Tony Stark (who is Iron Man) for help to save his friends. Tony brought in the other Avengers, and together with Makoto, they defeated Hydra. They also rescued Adi and Chloe. The Avengers saw how much potential these three young heroes had. So, they decided to train them to become real superheroes. They called this new team the "Future Avengers."

While training the new recruits, the Avengers also worked to uncover a dangerous plan. This plan was called the "Emerald Rain Project." It was being put together by Hydra and another villain group called the Masters of Evil. The Avengers also wanted to find out how this project was connected to Makoto. Things got even more complicated when Bruno, another teen with powers who used to train with Makoto, was tricked into joining the Masters of Evil.

How the Show Was Made

The idea for Marvel Future Avengers was first shared in February 2017. It was announced that it would air on Disney's Dlife channel that summer. In May, more details were confirmed, like when it would start and who would be in the cast and crew.

Yūzō Satō, who directed Marvel Anime: Iron Man, became the director for this series. Takahiro Umehara designed the characters, making them look cool and unique. Ryū King, who was the main writer for Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers in 2014, also wrote for Marvel Future Avengers. Many of the voice actors from Disk Wars returned to voice their characters in this new show.

In January 2018, the show was given the green light for a second season. This new season started airing in July of the same year.

A Marvel Future Avengers manga (Japanese comic book) series also started. It was drawn by Teruaki Mizuno and first appeared in the April 2017 issue of Shogakukan's CoroCoro Comic Special magazine.

The anime was later released to a wider audience outside of Japan on Disney+. The first season was added on February 28, 2020, and the second season followed on May 22, 2020.
