Marwan Mohsen (born on February 26, 1989) is an Egyptian professional footballer. He plays as a striker, which means he is a forward player who tries to score goals. Currently, he plays for El Gouna.
Marwan Mohsen first played for the Egyptian national team on September 3, 2011. In that game against Sierra Leone, he scored his very first goal for his country. This was during a qualifying match for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.

Club Career Highlights
Playing for Petrojet
Marwan Mohsen started his professional career with Petrojet in the Egyptian Premier League. He joined them in the winter of 2010. His first game was on May 13, 2010, against El Gaish.
He played well and earned a spot on the Egypt U-23 squad. This team was trying to qualify for big tournaments like the 2011 All-Africa Games and the 2012 Summer Olympics. He scored 4 goals in the 2010–11 season.
In 2012, there was a lot of talk about Mohsen moving to a bigger club, possibly in Europe. Both top Egyptian clubs, Al Ahly and Zamalek, were interested in him. European teams also showed interest, especially after he played well for the Egypt U-23 team.
Mohsen had a great performance in the 2012 Toulon Tournament and also played well in the 2012 Summer Olympics. He had an amazing record of 21 goals in 31 matches. Later that year, he faced a health challenge that kept him from playing for a few months. However, he recovered fully and returned to the field, even scoring in friendly matches.
In 2013, Mohsen wanted to leave Petrojet to help secure his place on the national team. He almost moved to a Russian club called Amkar Perm, but the clubs could not agree on a transfer fee. He finished the 2012–13 season with 2 goals in 10 games for Petrojet.
Moving to Gil Vicente
On July 10, 2014, Marwan Mohsen moved to Portugal. He signed a three-year contract with Gil Vicente. He played for them until 2015.
Time with Ismaily
After his time in Portugal, Mohsen returned to Egypt. On July 15, 2015, he signed a three-year contract with Ismaily SC. He had a very successful season there, scoring 14 goals and making 10 assists in 32 games in the Egyptian Premier League.
Joining Al Ahly
Because of his strong performance, Al Ahly, one of Egypt's biggest clubs, signed Marwan Mohsen. On July 21, 2016, he officially joined Al Ahly on a five-year contract. He played for Al Ahly until 2021.
Playing for Future and El Gouna
After Al Ahly, Marwan Mohsen played for Future FC from 2021 to 2024. He then joined El Gouna in 2025, where he plays today.
International Career
Marwan Mohsen has represented his country, Egypt, in many important matches. He was part of the squad that played in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. He played in all three of Egypt's matches during the group stage of the tournament.
